Please give a brief personal background and talk about your hobbies/interests?

I am a solitary being. I love taking long walks (alone) through lonely paths. I am a morning person and like to witness the first rays of sun with my friends (trees, birds and squirrels). I love to read and try to write. Drawing is my first love, but I am not much into paints. I am more comfortable with pens. I like to sing and often you will find me humming a tune or two.

When, where and why did you start blogging?

I am a novice in the field of blogging and created my blog only in December, 2018 (Dec 14 to be precise). It’s simply an attempt to share my artwork and poems with others and also to learn something from the highly talented people out there.

What blogging tips or advice would you give someone just starting?

I think it would be wrong on my part to advice others about something where I myself am a newcomer. Instead, I would love to learn from you all.

What do you most enjoy about blogging and what have you learnt?

This is a very supportive community. I am really overwhelmed with the support and appreciation you people showered on me. I love reading the posts of fellow bloggers and they always teach me something new. It’s a platform where you keep on learning and growing simultaneously.

Has your blog or writing led to opportunities for you?

It’s been just a little over a month and I have already learnt so much from people all around the world. And this I feel is the best opportunity. I am looking forward to learn a lot more from you people.

What methods do you use to expand your readership?

I just try to be genuine in whatever I write or draw. I feel it is the emotion which connects people. It might take time to expand the readership this way, but it will be strong and long-lasting, as compared to other quick tricks.

Time management can be a challenge how do you stay disciplined and organised?

I try to post twice a week, an artwork on Saturdays and a poetry on Wednesdays. Though it is not a hardly set pattern and gets disturbed sometimes due to some unavoidable reasons, but I try to stick to it. I also don’t want to miss the posts of fellow bloggers, so I keep aside half-an-hour daily for reading. I don’t feel time management is a problem. One has just to be a little organised. Neither get too addicted to it nor neglect it completely. A disciplined schedule will help, I think.

Which is your favourite post and why?

Each post is unique and favourite to me. All of them contain a part of myself, so it is difficult to name one. Still, I would say this post titled “The most beautiful surprise” is really special to me.

What was our fault?

What has been your most popular post, did you expect it to be so popular?

The poem “Love is Strength” and an artwork titled “What was our fault?” received much appreciation and I am really thankful for it. I am emotionally attached to both of them and I am happy that others too were able to feel it.

Share something funky about yourself, or something that most don’t know?

I am a very reserved person. So, people usually take me as shy and timid. But when they get to see my adventurous side they just can’t digest the fact. I like to see their surprised faces.

I really don’t have words enough to thank you, Kate. You have been such a support to me from Day 1, mashallah. And then giving this opportunity of being interviewed is really kind of you. May Allah bless you with happiness and good health.
